Feet are the unsung heroes of the body - they are our foundation, propel us forward through space, and absorb force when we land. They respond dynamically to each step - relating ground forces to the rest of the body as the first point of impact. Any other issues throughout the body - knee, hip, lower back, and even neck and shoulder - can be related to how our feet are managing the relationship between your body and the ground.

If you’ve experienced foot issues, you know just how disruptive they can be! But you don’t need to have had issues to benefit from good foot care. We can all benefit from learning more about how to care for our feet, so we can keep walking and connecting with the ground for years to come.

Healthy feet need to be strong yet supple. Our practices will help you identify your current foot patterns and develop the strength and mobility you need for healthy foot function.

The EmbodyU approach helps you find out what you’re made of! We offer simple practices based on the Franklin Method®, yoga therapy, body work, and more that help you experience better function, balance, and dynamic alignment.

  • People who would like to improve their experience of walking, jumping, running, standing, balancing, getting up from and down to the ground

  • People with knee, hip, and lower back issues - it’s all connected and you have to get the foundation right!

What’s Included:

  • 75 minute intro webinar exploring the dynamic design and function of the feet to help you to better understand your own patterns, plus explorations to help you improve your movement and experience immediately (replay recording available)

  • 14 Short 5-20 minute training videos with anatomical embodiments and functional exercises supporting you in developing strong, supple feet and addressing your areas of foot and ankle concerns

  • Two 30 minute movement practices with Ali and Ann exploring and integrating the content

  • Recorded Embodiment & Q&A with Ali and Ann going over some common questions about utilizing these practices effectively in life.

  • Bonus videos including a ball rolling practice and an exploration of experiential patterns that start with our feet.
